I love this country of ours, Canada. If you ever have the opportunity to travel this country, as I have had, I encourage you to do so. There are such vast differences in the Canadian landscape from dessert to ocean, lakes to glaciers, and tropical forests to tundra. It is absolutely amazing! It is the beauty that is Canada that is the inspiration for my work, I hope that you will enjoy my portrayals of this great land!

Doug was contacted by a couple of very prestigious organizations in order to acquire the paintings pictured here to assist charitable organizations. "Stormy Sheringham" was sold at auction to benefit youth interested in the arts in Canada
